AvtoMarket CJSC was established in 1995.
The main trends of our company’s activity then were as follows:

• foreign economic;
• trade and intermediary;
• and production activities.

The planned progressive advance managed by our company’s leadership, a great previous operating experience of our collective in the kinds of activity specified and continuous analysis of rapidly changing economic situation in the country has enable AvtoMarket CJSC to become, within a short period of time, one of the leading wholesale operators in the Northwestern region of Russia with regard to sales of automotive components, in particular, exhaust system parts , body parts, electric equipment parts, tyres, automotive accessories, etc.

In addition, due to extensive commercial links, permanent supplies of these products have been carried out to the areas of Volga river, Western Siberia, central Russia, the southern Far-East and other Russian regions.

Lack of quality spare parts for this group of equipment, understanding of the economic conjuncture then prevailing and a great volume of knowledge gained by the company’s management in the specifics of manufacture of exhaust system parts for domestic automobiles have initiated the establishment and development of our own assembly production of such parts.

So already at the end of 1995, a contract was entered into with a Finnish manufacturer of these automotive components from luminated steel for their assembly at production premises leased in St. Petersburg. A high European quality of these mufflers has been mentioned by our customers up to the present moment.

In order to optimise the logistics in handling our company’s customers, we have opened a representation office of our company in Moscow, which has vast warehousing capabilities, modern office premises and trained personnel.

After considerable economic changes that took place in this country, the company’s management made a decision to reorganise our trading activities and focus our efforts on our own production.

The result of elaboration of an investment project has become the construction of a production and warehouse building unit in 1999 on a plot of land with the area of
1.5 hectares.

Press, pipe-bending and welding equipment, rolling-up machines have been installed and a warehousing automation system for product shipping has been implemented.

Now the main tasks of the AvtoMarket CJSC’s collective has become the manufacture of products by a complete production process cycle and expansion of the assortment of products designed for large users.

Reorganisation of AvtoMarket CJSC into a limited liability company (LLC) AvtoMarket with a sole owner.

A complete refusal of leased production premises, construction and installation of equipment at the additional production complex with the design capacity over
1 thousand products a day.

Establishment of a tool section for manufacturing the rigging, equipment and spare parts. Development, testing and expansion of the assortment of output products by offering sport and tuning exhaust system parts for automobiles of domestic and foreign manufacture.

The geography of supply chains has essentially widened. At the present time, apart from all Russian regions, our products are shipped to CIS countries (Ukraine, Kazakhstan, Armenia, etc.) and East-European countries.

The AvtoMarket LLC’s main objects are as follows:

• Expansion of the assortment of output products designed for large users;
• Continuous improvement of product quality and its conformity to most advanced western standards;
• Improvement of manufacturing processes and production automation;
• Further development of a full-scale dealer network.
